Senior Programmer

Responsibilities

  • • Work with the team to design and own tools and systems using Unity, initially on PC
  • • Drive improvements throughout the codebase alongside the rest of the core team

Requirements

  • • Experience specifying and implementing game architecture systems
  • • Experience of debugging, performance analysis and optimisation in games development
  • • Experience using Unity
  • • Familiarity with version control, continuous integration, bug tracking and code review systems
  • • Ability to work collaboratively with a team of mixed disciplines

Desirable

  • • 3+ years of industry experience
  • • Experience with graphics programming
  • • Enthusiasm for working with rendering systems
  • • Experience with C++
  • • Familiarity with console platforms
  • • Familiarity with Continuous Integration systems
  • • Basic understanding of scripting languages (e.g. Python/Lua)

Responsibilities

  • • Working with the whole team to implement and polish gameplay elements
  • • Dressing sections of the environment to direct player attention

Requirements

  • • Animation skills (For incidental objects, doors, construction animation, etc.)
  • • Shader experience (Unity or Amplify node-based tools acceptable)
  • • Profiling experience
  • • C# scripting skills

Desirable

  • • VFX/particles skills
